Coffee 101: Coffee is one of the most globalist products we imbibe on a regular basis. It is also one of the strangest products we consume, as we do so through a unique means of baking, pulverizing seeds, and then pouring water over said seeds from a plant grown halfway around the world. How did we get here and what does it all mean? In this course, the student will learn some of the history, anatomy, and impact of coffee on our time, as well as experience cupping of several different coffees as a means of objectively assessing quality.
WHAT TO BRING: something to write on, something to write with, an open mind, and good vibes.
