Barista classes at the factory
Our barista certification class* is designed for anyone who loves coffee and is curious about this beverage we can so easily take for granted.
It's broken up over three nights, and covers everything from the history of coffee to crafting a balanced and tasty espresso.
Our goal is that you leave even more curious and more passionate yet better equipped to explore, enjoy and craft truly great coffee.

Class 1: Culture
Dive into the history, anatomy and wonder that is coffee! Come with us on a journey as we explore coffees vast landscape. Starting as an exotic plant and traded commodity, its present as a unique yet ubiquitous beverage and it's exciting unforeseen future.
Class 2: Concepts
In this section we will dive deeper into understanding how we can take a green coffee cherry seed, roast it, grind it into a powder, add hot water and make something beautifully delicious. When you think about it, it seems improbable, but there really is a method to the madness of brewing coffee.
Class 3: Craft
It’s time to get your hands dirty, literally. We will take all that we have learned and come to appreciate about coffee and apply it to brewing, pulling espresso shots and steaming milk. This is where we leave the comfort of the classroom and enter the laboratory, not merely as bystanders, but as participants in the process of brewing that perfect cup.
