History:
Martha and her two sons, Elias & Shady, started to work with experimental coffee in a way that they could create and pass through the technology that would help to improve the quality of life of the families that work together with them in their project el Vergel.
This is the Vergel Family Estates flagship coffee. Produced over a decade where they’ve been able to create a mix between the traditional processing and a modern touch with their special fermentations to develop those fruit flavors in the cup.
This product originates in the foothills of Colombia’s most notorious volcano, the Nevada Del Ruiz, otherwise known as Black Mountain. These beans grow in extremely fertile soil containing special minerals leftover from the snowy volcano’s eruption in 1984. It’s the sweetness and medium to high-acidity comes from the farm’s high altitude making this one of their most popular products.
